EuroRail LBS
EuroRail LBS is the single-phase overhead type vacuum load break switch for railway electrification, designed and manufactured according to IEC standards. It is a type-tested load break switch with the vacuum arc quenching chamber, two fixed insulators supporting the terminals, and one insulator carrying out the switching procedure.
It is a reliable, robust and maintenance-free product which is designed for a long service life with corrosion free components and with high structural stability provided by the connections on fixed terminals supported by the two insulators.
EuroRail LBS is used with the EuroRail MM operating motor mechanism.
EuroRail DS
EuroRail DS range of products are the singlephase overhead type disconnecting switches for railway electrification, designed and manufactured according to IEC standards. Many different combinations are available with EuroRail DS, either using silicone-composite insulators or porcelain insulators, with or without earthing and/or fuses.
They are all designed with reliability being toppriority to achieve a long service life with durable components and high structural stability.
EuroRail DS products can be operated either with manual handle, or with the EuroRail MM operating mechanism.
EuroRail MM
EuroRail MM is the operating mechanism for EuroRail LBS and EuroRail DS products, used for controlling and automating the switches locally or remotely using a pole control system. Along with remote and local electrical operation, EuroRail MM operating mechanism also allows local manual operation in case of an emergency.
It is a weather-proof robust stainless steel box with the operating mechanism and motor inside, smartly designed and manufactured with the highest quality durable materials thinking the field operators' needs and diverse environmental conditions.
EuroRail LBS load break switches are used only with EuroRail MM, but it is optional to use them with EuroRail DS disconnecting switches.
